Shut Down

    since yesterday my comp is acting weird.I start up my comp and when I am like in a middle of something the comp freezes and my CD-ROM light start blinking.After like 30 sec it restarts automaticly.Than I can turn on my comp for like 2 or 3 mins. Can sum1 help me :(.

    Any error codes?

    Did you get the BSOD?

    Anything?

    I have this problem but my CD drive does flash, It just fails to boot next time my pc starts, I looked around and all i found was check drivers are up to date. Couldnt find any other info but quiet alot of people that had the C-media card reader had this problem

    i dont get no errors... i dont think i have c-media. :huh:

    uhh all i can probably say is just shut down the pc and disconnect the cd-rom and when you remove it try to connect the ppl who made it or sold it to you and see if theres something to repair the drive if the cd-rom is fine try contacting the makers of ur pc and see if they can give you assistance with ur problem if it continues you might have to send the computer to them so they can repear it .

    could be some bad ram problem get some ram checking programs and run some tests

    How do you know you dont have errors? Did you check the event viewer for them? Assuming you have a windows based machine. Start . ControlPanel > Admin Tools > Event Viewer.

    tht i dont know for sure,but he said that any errors pops up.No errors pops um but i am not sure that my comp is error free so yea....
