Anyone here planning on buying this on December 31st when it's released? It's a real time strategy game, no FPS in this title. Basically control armies and such. Like in Halo 1, 2, and 3 you got orders and carried them out. Now you give orders and watch them being carried out. (more or less)

It's mot only Bungie, but the creators of Age of Empires are also helping.

I've never really liked RTS but because it's a Halo game I may consider getting it.

This will be interesting, but most likely Halo won't be succesful as a non-fps game. People buy it for the fps action, not only for the title.

i'll probably get the rts version if theres custom maps and a map maker like wc3, that way the fun can be unlimited...almost...

I hope it's -------decent though. It's a big risk from turning away from the roots to something new for the series. It could flop, but since it's Halo people might praise it just for the title.

Bungie have nothing to do with Halo wars, Its made by a company called ensemble studios and microsoft is publishing it, After Halo 3 bungie are stopping so they said they could use the name as they wont need it

It looks a poor game aswell, Ok halo 1 started off as an RTS but it just wouldnt be right as Halo is known as an FPS and always will be

Sounds like how I got my PSP. Easiest thing to do is look for a job like me. I want both the 460 & PS3 so I gotta work for them.
