I'm gonna have to agree with you about the part where its happening everywhere in the world but not other part. I was thinking today about why people make such a big deal about it, In Germany, Iraq and other places in the world this is kinda common. Gunman storm the school, college or university and kill half and take hostage the rest. Just a few months ago Gunman stormed a university killing the teachers and take the students hostage. There were atleast 50 dead and no one made a topic or anything. Markets are bombed every day killing hundreds and no topic is made about that.. So what Xero is trying to say why should he care about another country when no body cares about his?

Thanks for the kick-ass post! I am impressed by your effort in taking the time to look into what you could hold. I was just curious because the only piece of clothing I was assured he was wearing was a maroon hat. At the same time, I thought it was somewhat regulation for universities to have metal detectors - but even if they did have them, I assume the glocks were made of plastic. Whatever the case, awesome post!

From what you stated about the the other shootings well maybe because a lot of the people around don't quit know about these certain incidents that you are referring to, also about the bombings I'm guessing you mean Iraq. Let me be blunt but why ask that question now when the war has been going on for almost 4-5yrs. Maybe people don't make topics about these certain things because they don't want to draw attention even though eventually something is bound to pop out. Also if these issue are so big the next time why don't you make the thread instead of telling us what to do.

Its said. Why do these dumbasses have to take 30 innocent people with them. If your a -----, just get rid of yourself.

Sucks too, that he wont get life in Jail, rotting away for 60 years. Asshole took the easy way out.

Whats werid though, is he shot someone, left, and they didnt tell everyone else to leave. They're just like ok everyone someones been shot, be cautious. The other 29 people shouldn't have even been there.

Why, Xero? Honest, no ---- answer? Kids like you making a huge deal about it. People like the Australian PM calling for us to edit our Constitution and become more "civilized" by adopting draconian measures like those in place in most of the world. Comments like "dumbass Americans and their guns lol" and "that's what happens when everybody has an assault rifle." People like certain Congressmen/women from New York who are (already...) using this as another call to ban the evil "assault weapons." Above all, the reason we get recognized so much is because of people like you. If this happened in Zimbabwe, would you have made the comments you have? If you don't like the way that it got recognized, you (and the countless others) should define "decency" and learn to shut the hell up--you'd be doing the victims and yourselves a favor, two birds with one stone.

...and certain (metal) parts such as the firing pin within the weapon. It's a common myth that the "evil, cop-killing" Glocks can go through metal detectors. They can't, especially when a ball-point pen will set one off. You'd have to field-strip the weapon, take out a few parts, and then try to conceal it (they leave a noticable bulge when you're carrying). And we'll not get started on ammunition--polymer ammo has stayed with Jason Bourne and Robert Ludlum to my knowledge.

It's not a whole lot of research. I just safed the Glock/Taurus, put them in those aforementioned positions, and placed the magazines/speed loaders on my person. Took all of five minutes.

Lennox is damn right--the other twenty-nine people (and the rest of the campus) had absolutely no business being on that campus after the first shooting was reported. Hindsight is 20-20, however, and I don't see the reason to start a witch-hunt within the local police department/campus security. People died a largely unpreventable death, and nobody else needs to suffer over that.

You really don't know when to shut up, do you? This is the worst shooting in our nations history, what the ------ do you expect? Us to just forget about it a few days later? Sure it didn't happen to me or my family, actually it happened on the other side of the country, but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't feel bad for the innocent people gunned down by a madman.

One of the best posts (besides my own in retaliation to Xero :) ) I have seen here. America isn't the only one that gets recognized when incidents happen. Again, you and your closed minded point of views should be better kept in your 5th grade head. How many times have we heard about the tube system in London and Spain getting bombed? The dirty bomb at the Olympics, tsunamis that hit India, and monsoons that hit Japan?

Are you that blind that you can't see what goes on around you? OR are you so busy in trying to pick fights with "us dumb Americans", that you have lost all conciousness to what civilization endures on a daily basis? Things like this impact our society not just on a local scale, but on a GLOBAL scale. And if you think that's loads of bull----, explain to me why the President of South Korea offered his condolences? Last time I checked, South Korea was nowhere near the United States.

No offense, but it's people like you that turn into these killers. Take a look at one of your college shootings I mentioned in an earlier post. This particular person was so obsessed with feminism and the fact that he believed women should be kept in the idealistic "home-maker" routine, that he not only publicly chastised (sp?) EVERY woman he encountered, he felt it necessary to take it a step further and kill these women.

Who knows, a couple years down the road, my son will be watching the news and hear a story about a person that had such a misconstrued view on Americans, that they decided the world would be better off without them. So, what does he do? He hits the heart of America, Washington D.C. The person I'm talking about is you Xero... Again, before you go criticizing other countires, take a look at what you are saying, and the image you are portraying. Then go take a look at the profiles at some of the most notorious mass murderers, including the most recent addition. You might find a striking resemblance.

@Ethereal.... Fantastic job. Thanks to you and the rest who realize the amount of lives this has touched...

*EDIT* It was 5 AM when I posted this, and I have already been up for well over 20 hours. It might seem a bit harsh, but I'm sticking to my views. If anyone feels the need to bitch, make a thread about it, or PM the admins about how people that get the big picture make you want to curl into the fetal position and defacate yourself.

Theonly problem with the gun law (in my opinion) is that people who are not citizens here in the U.S. can purchase a gun.
