(req) Custom Banner

I am launching a new web site and need an awsome custom banner created. I am thinking of having a contest and giving $50 to the winner. Would any one be interested in this contest? If people are interested I will post rules and banner guidlines in 24 hrs. (I am waiting on a logo that needs to be incorporated into the banner, and I should have the logo in 24 hrs.)

I am kind of new so if any one has any suggestions on the contest I would appreciate it!

I am new... nothing I can do about it. I just found this site this week, if you have any advice on getting 'rep' or credits or whatever let me know. My story...I make websites for friends and family and have some flash, html, and PSP experience but am just an amature. I stumbled upon this site & Jakool and realized there are some very good designers out there and I want some work done for one of my sites. I am re-creating one of my sites and have it half finished, flash menue and basic layout etc...but a custum banner would make it 100x better (atleast in my opinion.)

So yes I am new...but I am trustworthy and will be around for a while cause I am trying to learn some design stuff so I can make my own banners and sigs.

Any one else interested?

Believe me, i'm not trying to question your character nor Whit3 Boi, it's just, there has been incidents in the past where people have been scammed our of credits or money. Nothing personal, i trust you.

I Joined Jakool last week as limpinglogan and have a few posts. The only other forums I am a member of are MMA or wrestling forums. At mma.tv I am also limpinglogan and have 1k posts or so and have been member for a few years...I don't think that is means any thing though.

I dont know...I just figured who ever won the contest I would send them $50.00 via PayPal. Does any one have a better idea? Should I buy credits and give credits the winner? I just figured it would be easy to send $50.00 via paypal to the winner.

Yeah oops I ment the money but I think the money is better then the credits.

 

I'll be posting the rules and guidlines of the contest later today. If any one has any suggestions before I post them let me know. I am also thinking about having 1st & 2nd place prizes...instead of just first place.

What's the problem in being new member or not oO.
You make your entry if you win he sends you the money, you send him the .psd or what ever, and everyone is happy... no ?

Btw 50$ for a banner is a lot lol
Some guys have a lot of entrys and the prize for first is like 2K-3K credz (10-15$).
You should get a lot of entries.

If $50 bucks is alot that is ok to me because thats what a good banner is worth to me. Plus it will motivate a lot of entries.
