5 copies of my windows partition with drivers and programs preinstalled...

I'm not too worried about viruses corrupted OSes etc.

    Of the two AVG.

    The best? Kaspersky

Hourly updates, wont do a scheduled scan if you computer is under load i.e. if your playing a game or doing work in photoshop Kaspersky will wait till the computer is idle before running virus scans so you dont bog down your computer while gaming etc.

    Totally agree :)

Of course Norton would be expected to be the best because of there rep of being the 'best', but I'm sorry to say Norton slows your pc down like hell.

    AVG FTW!!!

    AVG by far

Norton made my hard drive crash and I had to pay over £70 to fix my PC.

Only noticable lag is when it scans is that what you mean when it's slow? Or are there other times when its slow aside from when its scanning.

Never tried AVG and Norton seems to work fine. So I will stick with Norton.

AVG all the way. The scan is a lot faster than Norton and it isn't a memory hog.
