    Which version of Norton?

BTW, my answer would be that you can do better than either of those if you're going to buy one.

Any version of Norton is useless. Definitely AVG.

I wouldn't say either of them is the best, but AVG is alot better than Norton, Try Kaspsersky or NOD32.

Every anti virus isn't secure but i just wanted to see why people used AVG aside from the fact that it's free it seems to have popularity and reliability

If i had to pick it would be AVG but if you knew what sites yo visit then you wouldnt get a virus, People can argue all they want but ive not had a single virus when using XP or Vista, I know as i scanned with AVG once or twice a year, I do get some spyware though

I use McAfee and I would defiantly recommend it, I've always been safe on the net since I got it :)

Norton, McAfee, AVG, NOD32 all suck! Get BitDefender or Kaspersky AV.

I'm using norton, but if i had a choice i would get AVG as it is MUCH fast. And free. Theere was a lot of confusion over if is was still free, but it is so don't worry!

norton did nothing for me when i had it, AVG slowed down my computer :<

and without any AV program i seem to do fine haha. but i have heard norton is pretty bad compared to AVG.
