C4d Problems

Whenever I try to apply an HDRI image to a material, it doesn't work. The material just appears black.

Ex:

Ex:

Ex: (Without HDRI image applied)

btw...i've already uninstalled and reinstalled it

 

Use enviroment, instead of color. my guess

 

apply the HDRI map to luminece.

 

when i use to do it on color or luminance it worked.......now it's not

 

hmm, let me see. ill open up c4d and see if i can figure out what might be happening

hmm i tried everything and i couldnt create a similar outcome to what you have encountered... have you tried restarting your comp/c4d try resetting your layout go to Window>Layout>reset layout.

thats about all i can offer im really not sure why you are having this problem. have you tried different HDRI maps?

i upgraded to Cinema 4D R10 and it works now
