Hi all , since my current gfx isn't so good , so i have decide to buy a new one , and i like this one : Ati X 1950 XTX 512 DDR4 what u guys think , good one for gaming ? will it be enough ?
it's a kickass card but still, for the money an 8800GTS is a better buy. runs cooler and uses less energy too http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130082 and it's 100$ cheaper too. if you want the 640mb version then... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814122018 9/10 times it's faster than the x1950XTX and both are within a few percent of each other. the main difference though is that the 640mb version is more "future prof" atleast in theory(though chances are, they will last the same amount of time.)
humm the radeon is cheaper accros the lake than it is in the US... still... http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.htm...2=547&chart=199 just hope they don't mark it up too much for you, the US economy has alot more competition so prices are typically a lot lower here if the 8800 is too expensive, that card is likely the next best choice.
The 8800 cost here around 400€ , damn so freaking expensive , i think i have to go with the ati one , i don't have so much €€ for the 8800
Gac - the X1950 w/ 256 mb ram is 185 € and its really good but if you have a smaller budget get the X1600 w/ 256 mb ram for 95 € theyr both really good graphics cards i have on my dads computer an x300 w/ 128mb ram and i cant find a single game i cant play with graphics settings on full
he has an x1650... he wants to upgrade from that so an x1600 would be a downgrade... on another note, GDDR4? is there such a thing?
I know I can find cheaper cards , but i don't want to change my card again in a month or two . I am already pissed a bit that I bouht a new pc with a ---- card , so i want to get one of the best cards , so that i don't need to buy a new one in a month or two . Thx for the replys and info .
I was searching for the GeForce one , and I found one in Poland for around 300€ it`s a : ASUS GEFORCE 8800 GTS 640MB DirectX 10 Better then ATi right ?
Yea , a bit over 300€ but not so much over , and since i know someone that lives in Poland , so that will not be a problem to get it . I think i'll go for the 8800GTS
