Well I remember when there were crews around towards the beginning and they were one of the hardest things to do, which made people want to join them etc.

I think we have to many crews, 15 to be exact.

And it's because people can get creds sooo much easier now. One high rated sig can be sold for an easy 1-2k.

I think we should raise the cred requirement along with other things you deem necessary. Because out of those 15 Crews, 5 are dead if not close to being.

I agree aswell, our crew is basically dead now but it wasn't because it was unorganised and we just decided to do it, we've pretty much closed down for other reasons which I won't go into now.

But I definetely agree that it is way to easy to start up a crew, not too long ago it would be quite rare to see a new crew but now they're popping up all over the place. I think even a cred requirement of up to 10k even would be fair, as you said "high rated sigs" can go for 1-2k. Only problem with that is there may be someone whos tag can not sell for that much because they're not well know, so possibly some other way of applying for a crew but I don't have any ideas for it. :)

I think that there should be a big crew creation fee, along with something like minimum post count, etc.

i agree but i think if you pay 10k for crew creating rights if your first crew shut down you should be able to make a new 1 free of charge and so on and so forth

Or instead of it being given freely back you have to pay a fee, since it was shut down for being inactive, etc.

i believe they should be free
why pay for a little picture in your sig?
you want to make a collab or get advice then ask friends, dont waste on a crew
but it wont happen, there gonna charge....

Bleh, I more or less agree, but this crew system helps get creds out of the system.

I agree aswell, with the huge inflation of the GR Bank the prices of making crews should raise.

i agree along with everyone else. I am very happy with my crew but there are many dead crew now, and alot of the newer crews died quickly.

I think u should also mabey raise the number of members u need until u make a crew from 3, to 5

i agree w/ higher cred fee, although 10k is too much, probably 5k or so.. not much sigs here sell for 2k+ or more anymo. also post count should be raised to atleast 2-3k.

    i remembers 3 crews here....UV,AG,AM...(i think there was a 4th but i fogot ?)
    now i can't lists the crews anymo...lol

i think crews altogether kinda ruin some of the fun. it just creates bad stereotypes and every1 starts saying who is a "noob" or who is "---" wen really...no such things exist. its art were talking about, not a sport. =/

but meh everyone probably hates me for saying that. but o well.

We purposefully lowered it (against myself and rena, the other mods felt it was a better decision) to better incorporate the crews, however, I agree that it should be harder to start and to maintain a crew than simply pay a credit fee and meet a rep and post limit anyone who has been here a couple of months can meet.

Also, while some of the crews may not be overly active and post and do things for the site, that does not mean they are dead.
