Curse of the golden flower is up there as one of the worst movies i've seen to date. It was just terrible the trailer shows intense fighting scenes, but in the actual movie its just 5mins of fighting and 2hours of constant talking with awful plot lines. O and its all in Chinese and you get tired of reading the subtitles pretty quick. It was so bad i went to sleep and asked my buddy Tan to tell me what happens while im asleep. So i wake up what have they done? NOTHING its just more and more talking. The family in the movie is so disfuntional, the emperor wants to kill the empress, the empress has a plan to abdicate the emperor from his throne, the second son has a relationship with his sister which he doesnt know about till near the end, the empress also has a plan to make the second son Wan not get the throne but instead help her first son Jai get it. Then the third son kills his second brother because he knows of the plan and wants to get the throne but gets killed by the emperors guard people. Plus other ---- >_< MY ADVICE DO NOT SEE THIS CRAP!!!
I saw it and thought it was pretty good, not great but if ya the type of person who cant stand subtitles then dont see it, if ya dont mind and actually understand all the background of Old China then its not bad... Not as good as 'House of 'Flying Daggers' though... However the fighting scenes that there were in it were pretty cool, like Ninja's coming out of nowhere and killing people was pretty cool. Imo i wouldnt say its one of the worst films ive seen but just wasnt GREAT, + i just saw 300 last week so its gotta live up to that.
I saw the trailer with my friend during 300, and we were like "Dynasty Warriors". But that description makes it sound bad. But I went to see the Last Mimzy with my family, and unfortunately, there were no interesting or exciting bits in the whole film.
i've never even heard of the movie lol, not like i planned on going to see this movie since i strictly only go see horror flicks at the theater. Thanks for the heads up i guess
