Well, Their has been a new Update for Gears of war (360) I have only played the new update One time, But its basically like King of the hill, What you do is you spawn, and it shows you a weapon to run to, So once you get their you have to fight your way till ur team owns the hill, when you own the hill, you can leave the hill, until the opposite team goes into the hill, Once You own it a 60 Sec timer starts to decrease Until its down to zero, Once it hits zero the hill will move to another weapon, you keep doing this until the team gets the points needed to win the round, The team with more rounds won at the end of the match wins, It is Quite fun, Its a free update, Just run you gears disc into your 360 and it will update. I forgot to mention, that the Game is re-spawn so if you die you keep playing till the round is over, You will re-spawn all over the man, and sometimes next to the other team. Anymore people played the update? And what do you think about it?
I've played it and I think it's alright. No major changes and annex is a pretty good gametype. I'd say it's fun.
I hate it.. Cant weapon slide..(Not that drastic) But now host owns everyone easily... And you get caught on 15x more corners than before
I like it. They finally fixed 5:4 VGA back to what it was, A+X weapon slide gone (not the other though), Annex is good. Still some issues like unpatched glitches, sticking to walls when it was fine before, but overall it's good.
I've played it for a couple hours now and i really like it, sticking to walls is annoying but apart from that its a great game type.
Revive... Well, I have started playing again, thank god there is a diff. Weapon Slide, but the stupid getting caught on corners is ridiculous
I can say that I honestly enjoy the Annex game mode. One thing I would change is to change the basis from "Warzone" to "Execution" so you could pick yourself up...I've encountered many cases where people leave you down to where you bleed out, putting you out of action for quite a while. Not related to Annex, I really wish they wouldn't have changed how your character reacts with the environment, as I'm getting stuck to everything more easily than before the patch.
