What's Wrong ..

    So i just installed today NFS: Carbon on my new PC , before I done that i tested it on www.canyourunit.com to see or I can play eveerything at the best settings .

    This are the results :

    and the problem is, when i set everything on max it don't work so good , i mean it sticks regular and i can ride clear..
    what is the problem as you can see on screens , my gfx is like 2X better then the recommended settings ..
    can somone help me ?
    is it because i use vista? i don't think so ..but yea it can

    im not sure, but i think it might be vista

    i dont understand your problem tho, if everything works, then what is the problem?

    The problem is www.canyourunit.com shows I can run it easy on the best settings in the game and when i set all the best settings in the games my game sticks regular...

    it might be cause of vista...As vista needs 1gb ram itself your only getting 1gb to the same...Ok the game only needs 1gb but games always like more ram and the fact the game was based for Windows XP might slow it down

    k , thx , i am thinking about install xp on this pc , but i am a bit scare for my waranty .. since the pc came with vista and when i install xp they can say they don't repair it because i have changed the windows ..

    Just add another HD. Install Xp on it and duel boot. This should not void the warrenty , if you have expansion room for it. I'm in the same boat as you. So thats all i'm going to do. You could make a partition on your HD and install it. But it didn't work for me. Your probably like me. You buy a new PC and think it will be better, but its not. And you hate to spend more money on more parts. I had to buy a bigger power supply just to run my card. O_O

    I can't put another HD in it because I am not allowed to open the case =D

    hehe , i am locked with this ---- waranty ..but i am gonna install xp, and when something goes wrong i am gonna instal vista and then i'll give it to repair it :)

    Who needs warrenty lol..You will want to upgrade the gfx card anyway..which means opening it lol

    Just backup all your data and install a clean version of XP. Thats the best way to go. :)

    if it's an x1650pro then no ---- If it's an x1650XT ehh go figure.

    also vista has ----ty drive support.

    try running the game on a lower resolution with the high settings.

    I can run it on all High but the resolution is then 800 X 600 , if i set it on 1024 X 864 then i need to lower everything to medium .

    If tech support is so great, why do you turn to us when you need this answered? Ffs, tech support is another way to rip you off your money. If something ------s up, you clear CMOS, re-install windows, and be on your way.
