Um my laptop pretty much turns on, goes through the windows screen then the screen turns blue and it shuts off.... I can't do recovery discs because when I called them they said they don't have it for my model anymore. Any solution to the problem? I tried doing restore and stuff. Anything I can burn from my desktop and put in the laptop that might be able to reset it?

There is no other way to format, if that's what you're asking.

i had this on my laptop too, it all depends what the blue screen actually says, if it says its missing some file u might be able to go thru safe mode and download that file by googling it.. BTW it doesnt matter what PC u have.. as long as you have the windows disk it will work on any pc or laptop
