ok then how long did sony have to make the ps3? And then somehow microsoft managed it all in less time.
This wont even hardly make PS3 better.. Woopty doo, PS3 home, wow its called private chat, or just dashboard... Dont need to be in a weird world type thingy... pointless imo
From what i can see, most of you is taking this in a new chatroom point of view. It is a chatroom but with also many other features. The one i look foward to the most is sharing files with freidns and playing games together...and then probably the house creating thing, that seems pretty cool.
I think it's silly. To me it looks just like myspace in 3d, but with a crap load more advetisements. Also, people are saying that it's gonna be a chatroom. How is that convenient??? I never heard of a PS3 having a keyboard, so it's gonna take forever just to type a single rant with the sixaxis. Sony is advertising that it's a way of meeting people and making friends, but Imvu did that a long time ago...and it's still creepy. The whole games gallery thing looks pretty but theres alreads something like that too, it's called a store. But sony wouldn't want you going outside; The sun is bad for your skin.
Does the PS3 come with a USB keyboard? Maybe in Japan, but I haven't heard of a model like that in the U.S. So basically sony is putting the program out with the knowledge that most people will not have USB compatable keyboard, but some lucky customers will type with ease while most of the population will have to use Sony's little keyboard program. I know this isn't a great comparison, but imagine buying Guitar Hero and having to buy the guitar seperatly.
They don't have an official PS3 keyboard OR headset yet, but like they said the bluetooth compatable ones work at the moment and Sony is in the works of making and releasing a headset and a keyboard.
i just hope they release the keybaord and headset b4 home comes out, or at least making it around the same month
i think this is rediculous... this is just evidence of how lazy and fat everyone is getting... if you want to goto someone's house... goto their real house not some graphical representation of a place. same with movies... go out and exercise on the way to the movies
and the point is to make friends with other ps3 users from other countries...the house design is just to show off creativity IMO
