Crossfire Special Edition: Night Gamer FX: Thanks in advance for the help guys I don't know too much about parts and but am hoping for a gaming computer that will last a while both comps are at http://www.ibuypower.com/.
I have about same system as the the Night Gamer. But my processor is the 4200+ with a 20inch lcd widescreen. Just be careful about buying a custom system. And be forwarned that Vista is going to drop your fps by 30% or so on some games. I was going to build my own, but I chickened out. Now I wish I would have. Good luck.
no it doesn't, it will drop a little but defiantly not that much anyway don't get any one of those comps, they both suck like who slis 7900gs? thats just retarded
Nothing wrong with dual 7900GS' if you can efford... They are both okay, but probably overpriced. You'd better build one yourself.
I'm not kidding. I am getting the same fps with my 7900GS 256MB PCI -E in Vista as I did with my 6600GT 128MB AGP in XP. I don't what care anyone says. With my system configuration, it's true. Or I wouldn't post about it. http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/01/29/xp-...ista/page4.html
building one would be cheaper, but the night gamer would be ur best bet if you dont want to build it. and vista does drop your frames a little but with your videocards it wont be a problem.
http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/configurator.aspx?mid=135 swap to a single 8800GTS. 2GB RAM and then do as you please for the most part.
