C6x Atlas Being Banned?!?

    Ok, personally I don't know Atlas but I've seen his work and he does stuff of this forums, and what I don't get is why is getting banned for this so called rip. I mean come on you say he ripped it but if he did he didn't sell the large piece on this forums and the ripping didn't take place on this forums so why is he being banned for this forum??

    *I could be wrong about my facts, but sorry if I am in advance. i just think its wrong for him being ban from this forum when this forum has got to do nothing ripped art work.

    i dont know the specific episode..
    does anybody know what exactly happened?

    and yeah, i think its awfull that atlas got banned..
    he is very skilled, and was always nice to everybody..
    i think he deserves to get unbanned.. i miss him, even if i dont know him that well..:P

    Yeah but hows he going to contact the staff if his banned?

    He used a stock in an LP. He was accused of ripping that off another LP. He showed the stock, but it was hosted on Tinypic, and Red Alert wanted to see the stock in a stock site. Atlas couldn't find it, so he got banned.

    Wait so i dont get it, he posted the stock in tinypic but that wasn't enough? Why not? I mean im honestly the last person that wants him back *bring on the neg reps for saying that* but its kind of odd :/

    I am not happy about it, I really respected him as an artist, and I really believe he found that on a stock site and did not rip it. But nevertheless, this is a problem between staff and atlas, I am sure it will all be sorted out. Staff does not allow people to post/argue in the "Problem/Suggestion" thread, I am sure they would not appreciate discussion of the same topic elsewhere.

    I do not want to argue, we will see this whole thing unfold over the next few days.

    I hope to see Atlas back, until then we shall be patient and not argue.

    He didn't deserve to get banned. The staff is full of assholes. He provided the stock so should be innocent.

    yeah, my question is about the status of stocks, not the atlas affair.

    if stocks are considered resources like c4ds, etc. then they can be used by many people, amirite?

    however, i can understand the rip issue if the stock was created by the original LP artist. if that's not the case, then i remain perplexed. :eek:

    The stock wasn't made by the artist at all.
