most of my life is taken up by reading. It's how I get away from the stupid people who roam this earth, who will never get to enjoy the pleaures of the written word, because they think it is uncool and worthless

I only read Edgar Allen Poe. Also, I'll probably start buying manga soon.

    Manga? No. It isn't, really.

    Prose, at least.

    PROSE BEFORE HOS, MAN.

What book(s) are you currently reading?

Books are awesome. I mostly read Fantasy and Sci Fi books because they are pretty adventurous and exciting. But If I'm really interested in something else I'll read it.

I read books all the time.

Recently I've been reading books based on the warhammer 40k universe, and they are really great.

    Commissar Cain FTW.

I don't read books like a hobby, but rather to challenge myself in understanding a subject. An example would be how - lately - I have been reading a lot of advanced Humanities books to boost my understanding of Humanities-styled areas (IE: philosophy, psychology, history, anthropology, paleontology, etc.). Below are some examples:
    • 1. "Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies" by Jared Diamond
      2. "Republic" by Plato
      3. "The Prince and Other Writings" by Niccolo Machiavelli
      4. "Cicero" by Anthony Everitt
      5. "In Search of the Primitive: A Critique of Civilization" by Stanley Diamond
      6. "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair
No, I am not reading these all at once! These are the main books that have been on my shelf for the year that I have gone through one by one.

I love reading books, just finished the Halo book series. I think I might go buy another book tomorrow because last day of spring break is tomorrow and I want to read something during school.
