It dont really interest me, i think if im gonna be on a PS3 id rather be playing games rather than speaking to people, if i wonna speak to people id use the phone, msn or the age old technique of meeting up with people face to face
This actually sounds pretty cool. Ill probably see how good this is when its fully released, then maybe get PS3.
ooh this is going to be great... now i'll have 2 get rid of my sister.. don't want her to show off her interior design skills all day long ^_^
Yeah, because we know that we can all easily go to let's say from America to Germany and meet new people amirite? Stupidest post ever.I'm probably going to put this in my signature part.
Wow, thank you captain obvious, you dont seem to understand that most people using this will be commmunicating with people that live near them, for the amount of people that will actually be in the scenario you stated then i dont think they need to be looking at a character made on a game to speak with them. Dont seem to understand my Obvious statement idiot.
... You don't understand the point of Home nor Xbox Live. The point of those two services is not to meet with people you live nearby but with people who live in other countries.Sure you can add people who can live nearby noone is telling you can't but as i said, that's not the point of Home nor XBL. Having a walking-talking personal avatar is a twist on an old MSN type of service. Who knows, maybe Home will become popular like Second Life, and then again maybe it won't.
its probably going to drive games like Second-Life out of business and stuff, i dont see anything bad about Home yet.
how about the fact that hardly anyone has a headset? this will never work with just people usin the ps3 typin programme
hardly anyone has a headset because an offical ps3 headset didnt come out yet, or at least thats what im told. So im assuming that when the game offically comes out, by that time the headset will come out. And plus who dont have to use headset, theres usb keybaord...just grab it from your cpu lol =P
well lets hope they do then, because i doubt they want everyone to go buy their own bluetooth headset for their phone to use for ps3, the quality wont be the same...
i dont think so, because when ps3 came out, there werent as many games to come out with to use the bluetooth. I think they focused on making the HD cables and ps3 controllers more than the bluetooth, since those were sold out for a while in my area anyways.
