fascinating, please tell me what's so boring about books?
Because I honestly can't see it, I like to read, and i don't have anything better to do, I don't really think there is much better to do anyway...

    Oof?
    Meh.
I find the large majority of books boring, uninspiring, and exactly the same as every other book in the genre. I only tend to read bestsellers, about things that grab my interest. Such as Angels and Demons, or Chart Throb.

Meh. In most occassions like above, I've got something better to do then read, something more productive.

Get the 815+ page book, THE ULTIMATE GUIDE. The entire Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. All 5 books including the extra story. It's hilarious, it's interesting, it's absolute GENIUS in every sense of the word. You'll be quoting from that book constantly eventually. That book is anything BUT boring. It's everything that books should be.

    I have 3 books I need to finish/start, I got 2 more yesterday:
    - THE ULTIMATE GUIDE (page 242 and can't stop reading ^_^ )
    - House (Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti)
    - Showdown (Ted Dekker)

The last 2 I got at a Christian book fair. Sure, Christian book fair, but regardless, House seems like a creepy book, I mean, in the back fo the book it says "Rules to the House: 1> God came into my house, and I killed him. 2> I will kill anyone who comes into my house like I killed God. 3> Give me one dead body and I might let rule #2 slide. You have until Dawn". They look so intriguing, Christian or not. I already know they'll be great books.

I love reading, it helps me expand my view of the world, makes me learn new things about this world. Like Dean Koontz' Lightning. That book really is fantastic in every sense of the word. I'm getting a degree in Philosophy BECAUSE of that book.

    Books for the win.

i like to read books sometimes when i have nothing else to do or just feel like it, but i dont have THAT many different books, and i like to re-read some stories over trying new ones unless ive had people say "thats a good book".
