Elder Scrolls - Oblivion Help

Hey everyone, I borrowed this game from a friend and I was wondering If I could have some help. I'm at this part:

I'm on the part with the gate to oblivion, I dont know what you have to do. It says 'Get help from people at the camp' to persuade that guy to come out of the town, but I talked to all of them and they say nothing special.

Help please?

I'm usually not into gaming but this game is awesome :wub:

You probably need to persuade the person.

When you are talking to a person the "rumors" option should be there. You will see the "persuade" option on the bottom left corner.

First you need to clear the gate of oblivion then you have to go to the lead guy (forgot his name) help him clear out Kvatch and then I think Martin(or w/e the emperor's son is name) will come with you.

Yup, but I cleared the gate with him, and he asks to have a villager or two to help get the citizens out.

Trust me, Oblviion gates get annoying, you need to close about 15 of them.

But just give him some gold, level up before you do the main quest though.

 

Wait to you get to the Burma Gate.

I found out what to do now, I was walking right into the city instead of into the gate thinger. Thanks guys
