Actually, Uber became popular in normal english, when a band named the Dead Kennedys used it in one of their song names. They were (or are, I don't know much about them, my friend is obsessed though) an 80's punk band.

I use uber all the time, of course my parents have no clue what it means, I find it rather useful when "big" and "awesome" don't quite cut it.

I use uber in everyday life, even when it's non-gaming related. For example, I smoke a lot of weed, and when my friend who is a real intelligent businessman gets some sweet chron, he goes: this chron is uber headdy brah! Not ----ting you.

messiah I bet you don't even know the reason why chronic isn't white from the coke, or why weed with high THC is always the most expensive...

it doesn't sound like you smoke a lot, I used to, hell my bro is a dealer. I haven't been blitzed in about 2 weeks, my bro was today he walks into his auto tech class and the teacher told him that he didn't have it today and he goes "well ---- this, i'm gonna go smoke a j" funniest thing I have ever heard... except for when Mr Belmont caught my friends smoking out behind the school and got them suspended for 10 days the way the story was told was hilarious... they were all stoned out of their minds, and just smoking some butts when all of a sudden the dude comes and catches them and they get ----ing kicked out of school for 10 days and searched, thankfully they smoked everything so the suspension wasn't as long but you get the point they didn't remember ---- the next day.

I think the whole bit about uber as in a response is cool, but one thing is I was playing planetside one day and me and my friend were ----ing around at like 3 am or so, and he goes in and tks me and about 10 other guys and then goes "opps" so I called him a ----tard and ever since then people use it, I play SWG now but even the guys in there... DAAMN they use it a lot, but considering most guys playing SWG have no lives its kinda funny.

Uber is a word that I use but not overused, to meny words are abused by saying them all the time...

I think the only word that can hold up that abuse is "lol"

Haha I didn't know what it means, I do not use it really, only if I'm being a dork. But a lot of people through my gaming communitys that I've been with use it, interesting though.

uber is 1337. it was a part of the 1337 code haxors used when 1337 was an unknown thing to mosr ppl. example:

    73h uber |-|@x \/\/0r|< ! \/\/!11 60 100|< @7 pr0n.

its was saying that the hack was very good.

Uber? I'd never use that word. What's the point?
