your LP are really good and everyone gets tired of making sigs but some other people make tuts on them so others can learn ..

    Good Luck with LPs

Dunno, you can make sig making tougher by making things from scratch/not using stocks etc.

Personally I'm not going to move on to LP's completely until I feel I can make wow sigs very easily.

well im over sigs, and i think im over photoshop.. I find that actual art is much more challenging because you can be alot more creative and it is more original. For me, over time, the digital art we're all doing just seems more and more boring with the realisation that its a program doing mostly all the work, what comes from us with digital art is the idea.. Non-digital art is more satisfying because it requires some skill, and you have to learn new things and practice, not just memorize "techniques" in photoshop (practice as they say). Because anyone really with no graphic skill can be tought a couple filter techniques and apply it, but with drawing, you can be tought some drawing techiniques but applying it is alot different. My opinion

That's true, and when you do ----- drawings (like some of the ones on DA), it usually looks better than something on PS. ;)

I agree completely. I think that's why I've picked up drawing again and even though it takes a bit more work, it much more satisfying than when I accomplished something in Photoshop.

yea thats why most of my lp's i got into vectoring because yea I can't draw that great but when I vector something add the effects and everything I feel way more accomplished. All my lp's that i vectored i feel that way. My favorite one thats called color blast on my DA was done with all brushing and graident maps....but i still think the outcome was good.

    LPs are far better.
I've stopped making tags countless times.

The only thing keeping me into signatures is the constant giving myself challenge. Now I ALWAYS make the hardest attempt to use graphical design to depict recent events. Not in a way that throws it all at your face, but rather metaphorically putting in shapes, effects, even text placement, I always try to do that whenever something goes wrong in my life to express myself. Always.

Regardless, though, LPs are a hell of a lot better than signatures.

I say, in a literature comparison for me, signatures are the short story, but LPs are the novels.

Who the hell hasn't gone through that?

As far as the Lp's are concerned.....simplicity isn't always the greatest style. *Shoot me*

I've made a few LP's but I want to get up to the level HEJZ (www.hejz.com) (this guy does LP's for corporations, he just did the Nokia L'amour collection) before I only start making LPs (okay I probably won't be as good as him but I can try...)

An excellent LP site is www.depthcore.com
