I know that most of you probably DO NOT know what Über means, so lets clear it.

Über means beyond / over. Its a german word, and its just one of those things I guess got adapted to the gaming community, but why say it? When you add it to a sentence it makes it sound weird, and senseless...

Its like saying... bumsen weg, gesendheit.

I just said, ---- off, bless you.... its weird... to explain but.. why say it?

    Any comments?

wow, i am a fluent german. and yes, u did get it right. but its not the way germans would say that. to say ---- off in german it would be: verpiss (fair-piss) dich (dihh*)

*the hh is pronoused like a growl at the front of your throat.

It's just as cool as saying:

    That is beyond wicked!

But I think it came from the CS losers.

"U R s0 Üb3rl33t", that's not really something to say on a forum like this.
Perhaps it is in games like CS, i don't know (don't play it often).

ya and people always use 1337 or leet etc. in place of elite...although, i believe 1337 is code talk and it some how got thrown in the gaming vocabulary O_O

never in my life have I used uber. The only times I use l337 are when I'm describing something sarcastically/funny. Like..check out my l337 sig.
