    I need help installing arcade games, i get this when i upload a game,

    The following folders need to be chmodded to 0755 or 0777 before you may use the tar installer.

    * /home/dcepicfl/public_html/forum/arcade/
    * /home/dcepicfl/public_html/forum/arcade/tar/
    * /home/dcepicfl/public_html/forum/arcade/tar/installed/
    * /home/dcepicfl/public_html/forum/arcade/tar/tmp/
    * /home/dcepicfl/public_html/forum/arcade/images/
    * /home/dcepicfl/public_html/forum/arcade/gamedata/



    If you know how to do this plz post, and if someone wants some cred and is willing to install some games, ill pay creds for each game installed.

    Youll need to CHMOD the files.

    It can be easily done through the cpanel i believe.

    I can do it for ya, if ya want. It's as simple as changing CHMOD settings. I can walk you through it depending on what FTP software you have.

    Well if i gave you my FTP, can you edit those for me, and is it a one time thing?

    I know how to do this, i've odne it several times. The easiest way I know of is if your using smartftp highlight the files you want chmoded and set the properties to 777. And i can install the arcade games for you. You got a messanger? Might be easier there.

    Alright, you gonna do it then. Or did you want me to do it for you? (Note if you select a folder you will also need to have the box that says something along the lines of "All subfolders and files within this folder too?")

    777 should have the first three boxes in the first three columns checked off. Or you could just put the numbers 777 into the boxes.
