What are you talking about? All the fights I have been in were with people much bigger than me, and I haven't lost one fight.

Anyways, what I do is manage to get them on the ground, do a few moves to where my left arm is around the persons neck, and I just start wailing on his face. So you just just wrestle with friends or something to get better at fighting onthe ground, because most fights end up on the ground anyway.

Don't listen to him. Someone being larger than you matter about.... 5% in a fight.

Fight to your strengths. For me, that would be fighting on the ground (grappling), and since that is my strength, I don't real do anything that "looks" good in a fight, but I get the job done.

A good thing to know, is that ALL fights end up on the ground somewhere during the fight. If they are on the ground and so are you, NEVER show him your back. That is the MOST important thing to know. Hit him in key spots... the face isn't always the best place. The eye looks good, and you'll give him a black eye, but during the fight it's a terrible spot to hit them... because it doesn't little to nothing. Go for the jaw/temple/nose/neck/kidneys.

If you are on the ground, elbows are better to use. I can promise you that using your elbows in a fight will get the job done much sooner then using your fist.

Those are just the basics of what I do to fight. I would like to suggest that you don't fight, as it's a bad habit to get into (yes, a habit) and it will inflate your ego MAJORLY if you win, and vice-versa if you lose. The only times I fight, is when I'm defending myself (as that is the time to do it), and since I'm a small guy, 5'6", I'm generally the underdog when people see the fight. However, since I fight to my strengths and me being small helps me move around, I fight on the ground. I've never lost a fight, because I've always been able to get them in a position where they can't do much.

I suggest practicing with friends, like ground fighting and stuff. Just practice choking eachother out, and manipulating your body to make them useless. That's all I can really tell you. The rest is just experience. The more you do ANYTHING, the better you will get. This applies to fighting as much as anything else (if not more so).

    Merged Post:

And for the record, Fry and I are friends in real life, and we grapple with eachother all the time. It's great practice for a real fight, because it's the most practical thing you can do with a friend that doesn't hurt each other. Fry and I actually fight VERY similarly, he's just better on his feet in a fight.

I don't know what some art saying about it going to the ground. lol every fight I have been in ends up them falling to the ground unconcsius. (spelling)

I say if your going to try some fancy stuff on him like pressure points go for the inner part of his thigh and wail on it then let him see if he can stand up.

my suggestion is step to your right as he's coming at you and give him your best right hook to the side of the jaw. That's how I have won every one of the fights I have been in. and boxing too

The bigger they are the harder they fall. It's also smart to try to get behind the person. Elbow to the back or kick him in the joint behind the knee.

If you're going for pressure points, don't bother. You'd be better off carrying a weapon than trying to do some kung-fu-I-saw-this------online/in a movie fighting. Fight to get out of the situation, not prolong it.

As for that neck technique: that's a real good way to snap the kid's neck if you ------ up.

Guys all the suggestions you give are great .. but there's a uncontrollable emotion that will maybe blur or not make you think straight ... "adrenaline" .. It completely changes how you think and act .. Pretty much your on a high when your adrenalines pumping .. I would make sure you can actually control yourself under that influence.

I got a fight after school down at the park. About 30v30. Its one school onto another lol. NSC vs PSG or something lol. Im going down and seeing if anything happens. If it does hey I'll try some of the stuff mentioned above, if not I'm just walking away.

    just to warn you guys

i really wouldnt recomend hittin him in the throat with a punch, it can kill him very easily only use that kind of technique if you want to totaly kill him.

well, ive been doin karate since i was 7 got a black belt in 1 style and a brown belt in a diffrent style.

1 key technique is to punch from the hip it makes your punch much stronger.

another really nice thing would be to punch the person in the middle of the chest at the bottom of the rib cage it is a presure point and is very painful, if done right the fight will be over.

another really good thing to do........

who said you had to punch? all punching does is damage your hand, use the palm of your hand, that is a deadly wepeon trust me :D

and dont let the size bother you, try and come to an agreement first then if you cant, then try your best to put up a good fight :D

    good luck :)

One more thing: once it starts going, you ain't going to remember that "oh, this point makes him scream like a bitch;" use simple stuff like that right-step/right-hook technique, they're better.
