Right ive recently download a DVD and it is in a bin and cue format so i downloaded an image mounter to change the bin and cue into a different file once it had finished mounting it was a DAT file. I can play the DAT file on VLC Media Player , but i wanted to burn it onto dvd so to do that i would have to convert the DAT into an AVI format then use ConvertXtoDVD to change it into a VOB file type which would then after converting burn to the DVD. The problem is im having trouble finding a free reliable converter to change the DAT into AVI without having a water mark on it and not losing any of the quality just wondering if anyone new of any reliable free converters

Dunno anything about all this O_O :P

But if you have DivX, if it can play DAT files [which it probably cant], theres a little burn to disk option.

if its a bin and cue file you dont need to converter it just burn it on a CD/DVD the original file was converted to a bin and cue file so that all you have to do is just burn the file with Nero, Roxio etc... imgburn which is a free burner program can burn the bin/cue file onto CD/DVD for you

what you could have done was converted it into an .iso image then burn it. Make it easier on yourself.

I don't think that downloading DVD's is exactly legal either. This is one of those threads that should be closed...

You can't expect good quality playing a DVD on a tv that you got from an avi that was originally (probably) like 600x250.

It isn't possbile, as far as I know, to convert direct a .bin to .avi. Download Daemon tools and mount the image, you should be able to open it up with WMP.

I told you to burn the bin file with http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_soft...ols/imgburn.cfm and it will play on any standalone DVD player. You are doing unnecassry conversions and will lose video quality on top of that. If you have any doubts goto to some video related forums and ask there

I guess you don't get it. DO NOT convert the ------ing file. There is no point. If you want to play the bin file on your computer, download daemonz tools and mount it. Then you can use any program that you want to play it as if it was an actual CD. If you want to play it on a DVD player, then simply mount the BIN and CUE files.

why do that when VLC Player can play .bin files. also m1key send me a pm i have something that is worth the download. It will find the video file that is within the .bin file for you easily :). Then you can convert it using ConvertXtoDvd (by far the best program)
