    Hey, people.

I need help. My computer internet connection has gone terribly slow. I've already tried restoring to a point that where it hasn't occured. I've already tried a google search, but none have been useful. I'm trying to download the lastest driver for my NIC card.

Is my NIC card the problem? Cause I have a Realtek RT8169/8110 Family Gigabit Ethernet NIC card. Do I have to reinstall the card? Cause I don't have the CD to reinstall it, cause it didn't come with it.

Also my downloading speed is about 200 kbps and my upload speed is 300 kbps and I have a 10 mbps connection. Also that my LAN connection keeps blinking when I go and try to repair it.

Maybe your ISP is having some problems right now. Try restarting your modem. Or also maybe your ISP cut your bandwith. Mine did that to me once. <_<

Try doing a speedtest on your connection. Do a search online for one. A good one here in the U.S. is http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest. Also, try running a spyware program & antivirus program on your computer. Defraging your computer also helps to cut down on latency. See if that works. If that doesn't work a fresh install of the OS is always the best.
