On my other machine I'm running Ubuntu. Now, when I ran it off of the live CD everything was fine the screen resolution was nice and high and I was a happy camper. For some reason though, after I installed the OS I can't seem to change my screen resolution from anything other than 640 x 480 or whatever. I did some research and found that it's probably my video card driver, but I can't seem to find a driver for Linux anywhere. My computer is an e-machine T2245 (really old), and it's video is an on board Intel 845G/GL. Does anyone know where I can get some drivers for this thing?

for the most part, drivers are automatically installed FYI.

some exceptions occur when you have a very new card and drivers weren't out for it when the OS was released. In that case use the VESA drivers and install them manually via apt-get
