When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button. Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo. When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK. Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.

well im very sorry to say it but instead of helping me those programs didnt do anything i did whatever it told me to do and it didnt do nething so i uninstalled them all and when i restarted it my computer has gone into a windows ME Theme and i cant change it to any windows xp themes and it isnt in safe mode so i dont know what to do i dont think my laptop is covered for viruses ??? plz help me as i havent had much luck so far and i dont want a £400 laptop tobe wasted it was my only christmas present so i dont want it to be broke forever

those programs will not cause any problems, did you run the vundo one yet ?? what Latop is it ?? as the other poster says you hijackthis log shows NO antivirus or decent firewall download this free firewall http://www.download.com/Avast-Home-Edition...j=dl&tag=button install and update it and then scan the laptop in "safe mode" when finished boot into normal mode again then install a real firewall http://www.download.com/Sunbelt-Kerio-Pers...tml?tag=lst-0-1 (ignore the fact that it says 30 day trial, it keeps working) and turn off the crappy windows Xp built in one

dunno lol Merged Post: Actually, it does look right. it says your LAN is disconnected, but you don't have that. and your wireless is conected. the poor speed could even be becuase of the router or interference. Use system restore to go back a day to before you messed up the theme
that speed is right for a wireless connection... Avast is free and will delete stuff as it finds it windows defender http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/s...re/default.mspx will run in the background and block nasties as it spots them Spybot - Search & Destroy http://www.spybot.info/en/download/index.html needs to be run from time to time to keep the pc clean (as a back-up to windows defender)
