    Hello dear members,

I wanted to plug in my external hard disk, but when I do that windows does nothing, when I go to my computer it doesn't show up.
So I thought that my external hard drive was broke, but when I tryed to plug in my mp3 player it did nothing too, then I tried to plug in my digital cam and it does nothing, I realy need help because I can't find the problem, I really need the files on my external hard disk because its for my work...

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards,

Right click 'My Computer' > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager > Universal Serial Bus controllers. Check and see if any are disabled ;)
    GL on sorting it out.

Not sure if you tried it yet? But try shutting the pc down and restart, see if that helps.

Have you tried other usb ports because the one port just may be bad if the drivers are installed

i reckon it's most likely to be a bust usb port. try other ports. They must work for the modem, or mouse or something?

If it's a PC, you should have ectra USB port's at the back, if that dosen't work then there's hardware/software problem that the PC isn't recognising.
