i own a vbulletin board for hip hop.
Its more secure than IPB, has more
mods and hacks and i like there support

Eh, I'd say IPB. I have used it a lot, and I think it is a lot less... cluttered; a lot cleaner. I don't know much about vB's admin area, but the IPB ACP is good.

Btw Glocz, vB does not have more mods.

 

I think both are good one. They are the best two out in my opinion. PHPPB sucks completely. I always used IPB but Vb is also nice.

 

Vbull imo looks dirty and not nice. IPB looks smooth and clean. IPB has been my favourite since I was like .. 12 lol. Despite all the exploits and leaks IPB has, once its patched up its wonderful.

 

The mods are free, correct?

Don't matter safe. Just make a back up and when you upload the back up everything will be fine. You have nothing to worry about.
