Paypal Question

can unverified paypal accounts send and recieve money ?
by that i mean paypal accounts that dont have a card attached to them

 

I live in Uk and i have one its Unverified and i can receive but i cant send. Some people in different countries say they can.

 

I think if you don't have the a credit card in it, you can't send any money (duh lol) since there's nothing to charge your payments... and I think you need a bank account for you to receive money

 

You can verify your PayPal without a credit card--it's possible to verify by linking it to a bank account, which I did. Then I can send and receive money from that bank account through PayPal.

 

i looked for that but cant see where to do it from
how did you do it ?

what tordana said, but of course, that bank account has to be either of someone you know for you to get the payment and not just some random bank account...

I don't remember where the option is on the PayPal site, but the way it works is they send you two payments of random values between $0.01 and $0.99, you say what the amounts were when you receive them, and then the account is linked.

 

i'm not really sure cuz my old one was able to send a receive money while it wasn't verified but the new one wasn't until i verified it

 

Depends where you live ..

I'm unverified but can send & receive. (Canada).

 

Should still work if you're unverified.. but not 100%.. Worked for me.. Try sending me money i'll tell you if it worked.. lol

 

I can send and receive, I'm unverified.

I got $20 recieved, and spent $11 on Rapidshare, and $9 donating to another forum.

Only problem is if the site needs you to be verified or if it needs to charge directly to your CCard
