Does anyone know how to take out the EQ distorting that some songs give? Besides getting new headphones.

    1. get better quality songs
    2. lower down the sound
    3. try a defrag of the ipod that may help.
    4. if all that fails get some new headphones. i use the standard 1s and they work fine for me :D

DO NOT! Defrag an iPod if it's flash memory, in otherwords, unless you have a 20, 30, 15, 60, or 80gb iPod, don't defrag it, it'll ruin it. iPods are really bad for ----ty EQ, so you should just mess around till you find something.

The kbps. Anything above 192kbps should be pretty good, unless it was encoded poorly.
