That's pretty brutal.

 

Dolphins are so innocent, someone who can go to a job that kills them in such a brutal way deserves the same, I don't care who you have to feed, that's wrong in every way. This kind of makes me sad that I'm Asian...I can't blame them all, but since this is accepted seemingly I'm ashamed for them. Signed.

I have to say, that it's not that different. And slaughter houses are worse.

 

So because you dont have a strong spiritual and emotional connectiong with them you dont care? Say some other more intelligent species came and rounded up your family, then proceed to stab them with spears, drag them behind cars and slit there throats while they are still alive. According to what you say, you wouldnt care because the more intelligent species doesnt have a strong emotional or spiritual connection with you.

 

Dolphins have attacked people...they're not completely innocent and benign...

I knew a dolphin once.

We played cards and he told me the secrets of life, the universe and everything. He stole those thoughts from humans. Then they took and killed him. He's on that video. Soon I doubted that he was smart, as he was killed and I realise maybe it was just the amazing weed I had that day.

On another note: Don't do drugs.

Well if you're that much of a saint, why dont you become a vegetarian? Because the meat tastes too good? Please stop pretending.

They drown the dolphins? Now you're just pushing it, it's like you want them to kill them without even touching them, what the hell are they supposed to do? Send someone to wrestle with them while they're in the water?

 

I feel that this is inhumane and what-not, but I also believe there are more... pressing matters to be fixed before we help the dolphins. Ten's of billions of apples, bananas, oranges, brussel sprouts, pumpkins, and hundreds of other species of plants are brutally murdered by humans, without the smallest bit of doubt. Many are brutally craved of their skin, and while they are still alive, chunks of their organs are carved away from their body, and then grinded into nothingness, until absolutely nothing remains.

 

While the footage is gruesome and inhumane to watch, what are we to press morals? Environmentalism in Japan takes on completely different values. For some time now, the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) has been doing work with Japan in terms of their fish and marine markets, including the illegal stuff - like this. As much as it pains me to watch this and want to hurt all those hunters for the mean and pointless slaughter of the dolphins, its important to remember one's right to national sovereignty and let the already like-minded delegations in the UNEP committee finally clear this up.
