Dial Up

    GR and dial up......thats just a recipe for pure frustration.

    My only suggestion for loading the large graphics on this site would be one of those Web Accelerators . Cant guarentee they work very effectively tho, as I've never used it.

    T2 is virtually non-existent, it's only around in the US and even then it's rather uncommon.

    I havent used Dial-Up in forever. Id kill myself if I had to revert back. Its gotten so bad, if I have to wait more then 20 seconds for a page to like I bitch.

    haha i feel your pain..but thank god comcast will be in my area by april :) YESSSSSSS by the way anyone know the installation fee?

    I hate dial up, i do to my dads for these long periods of time, and he lives outta town so the only net he can get is dial up...makes me cringe

    After looking back on how slow 56k is..I doubt I'd ever download photoshop, or any media if I still had it. It would usually take 3 hrs to download that program, and 2 for media. -_- For websites, it would take 2+ mins to load one.

    Yeah I still have dial up. I've had it since 98, and I'm really surprised I dealt with it thus far.

    Ive been with DSL for the past 2 years, and recently had to switch to dialup while im moving, its so slow its insane, luckily I have a fast dialup modem, faster than normal ones, but still its too slow, im getting DSL back as soon as I can ^_^

    I feel your pain, I had dial-up 2 years ago now, and remember getting exited when it would download at more than 5k/s.

    wish i had a dsl <_<

    and it takes 5-7mins b4 this page to load

    Do you live in the middle of Tajikistan? I didn't know dial-up even existed anymore, seeing as how DSL/Cable is cheap, and practically available anywhere.
