This has to be the most stupid death ever. He can't block bullets with his shield now? Weak!!!

 

He was ASASSINATED which means you don't its coming.....

 

You do understand he's a super-hero, right? You'd expect someone like him to see this kind of crap.

here are a list of his powers:

Peak of human potential,
Expert in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat prowess as well as all terrain acrobatics,
Master tactician and field commander,
Wields vibranium-steel alloy shield

Nothing here does it say he can see people from far away or have spidey sense like spiderman

 

So, when this happened, his tactician abilities and peak of human potential did not even THINK about the possibility of him being assassinated? I still have to read the Civil War comics, so I honestly do not know exactly what occurred. He still should have SOME ability to deflect it with his shield.

I'm not going into a huge debate over a comic. kthnx.

 

I'm pretty sure people think about being assassinated but the key of a assassination is that you don't know when it happens.....

Wasn't he being brought on trial for treason when he got shot? Presumably he wouldn't have his shield to go to court. Plus after getting sniped he was shot by his girlfriend who was hypnotized or something like that.
