Ipb Problems

I get this message when i try to get to the ACP right after i just downloaded and reinstalled IPB v2.2.2

Anyone know whats going on?

 

your missing "cp_skin_global.php" i think

 

no it's there i just checked.

 

hm Either you havent chmod properly or you havent installed properly or file is not uploaded properly

ok wats the chmod supposed to be atm it's on 0644

I just changed it so everyone could do anything with it on the chmod, and nothign different happend, so i'll try reuploading it i guess

Reuploaded and didn't work. -.-
any ideas people?

 

Most folders on 0777 & 0755 only exceptions were the ones that had to be changed

neither worked darkstar tried 0777 and 0755

well i've installed it before and it worked fine, i did the same thing this time i don't think i messed it up :unsure:

Besides that i am not sure what happened - All i can say is reinstall and see what happens & if it happens again something wrong with the file

ok I don't know wth is going on because i've changed all the chmods multiple times, reuploaded, re installed, then i re downloaded the entire board and reuploaded and istalled again and nothing has worked. please anyone, ideas???? :huh:

EDIT: and yes I have paid for it and I am downloading a legal version of IPB 2.2.2 from IPB's official site.

ok i went and googled it to see if anyone else had this problem and I found this

and it's the only english one, but i don't see how that could be the problem if i have downloaded and reinstalled it from scratch multiple times.

 

are you uploading ALL of the files.. every single little file? and putting in the correct mysql info

 

yes i have been, and i'm almost positive i have the correct mysql data, at least (on purpose) i put in incorrect mysql data and it rejected it so i'm assuming if it accepts the db and account it's got to be correct?

but i might have darkstar install it for me to make sure i'm getting everysingle file tomorrow of course.

Hmm, there seems to be a line error from the message you're getting.

(Line: 1767 of /home/element/public_html/forum/sources/ipsclass.php)

You'd probably have to check what's going on. It could be as small as a ";" being out of place so watch out. And maybe contact IPB support.

 

yeah but i downloaded this from IPS and haven't edited it at all so.. :/

anyways i just opened up a ticket with them hopefully they can help me.

if you look up top it's in ipb2_standard

when infact is is supposed to be IPB2_Standard rofl i feel stupid
