Ok, my girlfriends computer is slow as ----. I checked it out, and whatta ya know? 128 megs of ram.

This appears to be compatible with her pin type and appropriate for her max memory bandwidth, but theres one thing. If you look at the feedback, one person says it didn't work for their Dell Dimension 2400, which is the same model my girlfriend has.

Is there any logical reason it wouldn't work for the 2400, or is that guy just dumb?

All I can think of is that the crappy Dell motherboard isn't feeding it enough volts.

Would that be fixable in the BIOS?

it should in theory work, i wouldn't understand why, it could be a motherboard related issue not liking the ICs or the way the RAM is configured.

I'm not entirely sure about exact will it work type cases for each and every single thing, but i can say that it should work

another explanation for the kit not working in the dell 2400 is that the RAM kit was bad. I mean that does happen.
