The real question should be... What makes those your favorite? Is it because it's the first color you saw when you were a baby? Most males like blue. When we were babies, our parents would dress us in those cute little boy pajamas or whatever. You know, the one with the little feet slots. As for girls, they were dressed in the pink ones, that's probably why most girls like pink. Another thing, how do you know that "red" is actually "red". Because that's what you are told. If you were never told that red is red, then you could think its a completely different color. Does that make sense? ~Ciel
um lol .. red is named red because we have to classify something as something .. we have to give a name to something so we know what one is talking about .. why are we called humans ? we dont really know we're humans do we but we are only because thats how we classify ourselves. And im sure peoples favourite colours are from personal preference. Like alot of things are in this world.
But why call it red? Why not something else. Say you just had your memory taken away. You saw the color red. Would you know it was red? No, you'd probably call it something different. It's kinda like that question, why is the sky blue and the grass green only a little bit more complex. However, I don't think you're really getting it. It's called thinking out of the box, we know things because that's what we are told, but is it right? Sure, favorite colors are based on preference, but most males like Blue and you know what there reason is, "It looks cool." that's a bull---- reason, why do you like it. Most don't know why. You might get the occasional "Because it looks good with everything." But, if they really liked a color, they wouldn't care what it went with would they? ~Ciel

Because that's just the way it is and the way we're taught it. No need to get philosophical over the simplest of questions lol. As for these generalizations about what type of person someone is just because they like black, knock it off. If you want to be an asshole because you can't accept someone for being who they are, stay quiet please. I prefer a car to be black because I think they look sharp when they're clean and everything. My favorite color in general would be olive green.
