Well I've been off from school all week so 2 nights ago I stopped by the theater and decided to see Ghost Rider. Sat down for a 7:20 show that due to advertisements didn't actually start till what felt like 8. It was 1 hour and 50 minutes long so its not all that bad. I'm going to break my review down as follows, Pros, Cons, Other thoughts. Ready? Here we go... PROS: the story does a good job of opening up the movie by telling you how J.Blaze became Ghost Rider. The special effects in this movie make it pretty damn good. The whole first 30 minutes or so of the movie is great. After that only the ending is as good I felt. CONS: Eva Mendes, Nick Cage? Theres no chemistry there. Hes like 40 shes not even 35. IMO they should have kept the actor who played young J.Blaze to play the role of full grown J.Blaze. When Ghost Rider is first "unleashed" The really only time you see him talking are "in-your-face" moments and you can barely make out his English until later on. The actor playing BlackHeart needs to drop the ego I understand its the character and all but I wanted to walk out from dealin with that dumba$$ guy. OTHER THOUGHTS: This movie isn't great but it isn't horrible either. If you can accept the fact that theres no chemistry between Eva and Nick and are looking to see a movie with some thrills for your money. Go see it I walked away with some satisfaction so I'd expect you to as well. In conclusion I give Ghost Rider 3 shaggys outta 5 :shaggy: :shaggy: :shaggy: I hope you enjoyed this review.

I seen it on monday, I thought it sucked. There was barely nothing to the storyline, the usual good vs. evil bull----.
Agreed. The dialog in the movie was absolutely horrible if you ask me. At times it felt like a kid in high school originally wrote the script for a media final exam. I was pretty disappointed with the movie overall, could have been a lot better.
I think thats why they casted her. They were liek OH this movie blows lets get some hot girl to play the lead female role and then will have a hit. Amazingly like this movie or not its still doing great at the box office. But please no sequel because by then eva will be 35 and Cage will be OLD looking more then he is already.

I knew this movie was gona suck big time. All these comic movies suck butt (with a few exeptions), I bet it was nothin but cool lookin special effects.
I loved it, i was yelling in the threatre when he was kickin ass in his ghost rider form, it was AWESOME.
This movie was really, really bad and I mean if anyone has seen Ultrviolet bad. To me the dialog was absolute crap and there were just some random bits scattered throughout the movie. So imo if you haven't read the comic then don't watch this movie....
