    Write a polynomial function with the rational coefficients in standard form with the give zeros.

    x = 1, 2, 3/5
    x = -2, 0, radical 3

    im studying for a big test tomorrow and need help with this question. :eek:
    what is a polynomial function?

    A polynomial is just any expression made up only of addition, subtraction and multiplication (thankfully, it's just the name that sounds complicated). Although you're 'allowed' fractions I suppose, so x/2 would still be polynomial as it would be equivalent to 1/2*x.

    What you are looking for is something that typically looks like this:

    a + bx + cx^2 + dx^3...

    where a, b, c, & d are coefficients of your variable, x - their respective powers being 0, 1, 2 & 3.

    But I'm afraid I don't really understand your question 100%, is the version you typed, exactly the one that you have on paper?
