I really have problems with that mod. He's being rude everywhere. He is never nice and he flamed my advertising topic. For that flaming he got 2 -reps and just deleted them. That's really unfair, because they were both 100% valid. Why is he even moderator?
First off, BFTP has never deleted his own neg reps. Hes even not spoken up about some invalid neg reps he has recieved in the past. If they where removed, it is because he reported them to a staff member, and they removed them for being invalid. As for flaming your thread. I reviewed what he posted before it was deleted. While I found the critiscm to be harsh, I found it to be just that, critiscm, and not flaming. BFTP is known for being blunt. He doesn't sugar coat things, and will tell it to you how it is. That being said, he is a damn good moderator. He is always on top of things, and always comes up with tons of great suggestions for this site. In fact, alot of the things this site has come to know and love, has been because of his ideas. FYI, it is also because of BFTP, that I was able to find a coder, who has managed to code the new GR skin in about 48 hours. I am very happy to have him as part of our moderating team.
While I found the critiscm to be harsh, I found it to be just that, critiscm, and not flaming. Its advertising, i want to get members if somebody says. Nothing is original and why should you join for one person, while there are better persons. I see that as flaming. That's just dumb. And the reps were valid so the one who deleted them is not so smart. How can you be a good moderator if nobody likes you? He flames everybody, so that's just a stupid answer. LMFAO.. If that deserves a moderator thats just funny.
The skin thing was just one small example of things he has done for GR. He made some valid points about your site. Any good web developer knows that if you post advertising on a forum, your going to recieve both good and bad feedback. If your site is good enough, the bad feedback shouldn't hurt it. For example, I write site reviews as a side job, and post them on one of my sites. These people pay me with their hard earned money, to write reviews for their site. However, just because they pay me, doesn't mean I have to give them a good score. They dont complain when I rate them lower than a 10, because they know its a review. They take my opinions to thought, and see if its something they do, or do not want to improve. Like I said before, while his critcism is harsh, he brought up valid points. Out of curiosity, I went and reviewed some of BFTP's posts just now. Just after reviewing the first page, I saw alot of good actions from him in the way he handled various problems on the forum, as well as good feedback, and ideas for the site in the staff section. Yes, some people don't like him. There is people that don't like me as well, does that mean I shouldn't be an admin here?
when i said that i didnt like the staff at agfx my -rep was valid. Although it disappeared 2 months after it.
I wasn't the one that removed the neg reps, you would need to speak with the staff member who did, and they could explain that situation further.

We just started, so the things he commented were useless. We're getting lots original stuff, it only has to wait. And it's not only about my advertising topic. It's his general acting. I'm sure alot people will agree with me and don't like him.
While i can say that i dislike the way Andrew sometimes says things and treats some members on this forum, i can say that he has done alot for the forum, many of the things on here were due to Andrew, many of which we use. I can not comment on what he said in your topic as i did not see what he wrote but i do know that Andrew is Andrew, you either like him or you don't, he is a very blunt person and will tell you straight if he has a problem/and or if your site (for example) is unoriginal. Even though he is the most disliked moderator on this forum along with one other, he gets the job done efficiently and in the quickest way possible. People just need to realize that Andrew is the way he is, you can either choose to ignore him or laugh it off because he will not change.
There might be 1 or 2 people who dont like you, but there would be like 50-80% of the active members that dont like bftp. Just a difference.

Not to step on toes here or anything, but think of it like having a boss. Most people come across one boss they can't stand at some point, BFTP is no different. You can't skip over your boss and complain to his boss about him and expect results, now can you? That person is there for good reason, they aren't going anywhere just because a group of people think he's too rough around the edges or they can't handle what he has to say. If he abused his power here, that would be one thing, but BFTP doesn't abuse his powers in the least bit. You're free to dislike him all you want, but we won't be getting rid of him just because some of you can't handle a little blunt criticism when it's thrown your way.
