    Well, I kinda know the basics of dreamweaver, like iFrames and ----, but I need help making a portfolio site.

    I've already got a template sliced, but I just needs loads of help with it.

    If you are interested, add me on msn [email protected]

    I'm not sure how much I'm willing to pay, but it depends on how much you helped me

    This is for notepad:

    When you slice it, go to file>save for web, name it index.html with the "html and images" selected. Make a folder named something like index, and save it there.

    Open up the folder and open the html file in both firefox (or whatever your internet is) and in notepad.

    When you open it up in notepad, there are title tags. Inbetween them, name your page (like on gamerenders it says "GameRenders -> [req] Help..." that).

    The next thing you should do is add a CSS. Under the meta tags, add the following:
    Code:
    <style type="text/css">
    body { background-color:#The number of your background; }
    </style>
    Now you will notice how the whole page turns to the color of your choice right, but your layout is on the left side. Under this line:
    Code:
    <body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
    , put in
    Code:
    <div align="center">
    That centers out the layout.

    Now go around your template (the border, everything that isn't a button). You're going to have to edit the codes slightly:
    Code:
    Before:
    <td rowspan="2">
      	[img]images/index_01.gif[/img]</td>

    After:
    <td colspan="14" background="images/index_01.gif" width="500" height="80" alt=""></td>
    Hit ctrl+s. Refresh your page on your internet client, and rightclick the image "01". Notice how you can't save the image anymore, its just a "bookmark" and all that.

    Once your done with all your background images, its time for the button coding.

    Again, your original code is:
    Code:
    <td rowspan="2">
      	[img]images/index_xx.gif[/img]</td>
    You want to change it to:
    Code:
    <td rowspan="2">
      	[url="#"][img]images/index_xx.gif[/img]</td>[/url]
    Change the # to your desired link.
    Hit ctrl+s. Refresh your browser.

    Eww!! Now the button has a blue outline around it, messing up the whole template. Time to fix it!
    Go to the begining of your code again. Right after the { body background-color } thing, skip a line, and put in the following code:
    Code:
    img { border:none; }
    Hit ctrl+s, and refresh your browser.

    All better huh. Finish coding your template, and that should be it for now, if you have any quesions, please PM and I'll try my best to help you (yes, I just wrote this whole thing for you )
