OK i have a laptop and it is screwed it doesnt load up to windows anymore.

i need and want to reformat it BUT it doesn't have a CD drive or a floppy disk drive.

i have heard you can do it via USB with a flashdrive i was wondering if anyone knew how.

i would be very appreciative and also i am not very good at computers so i need it explained well plz.

I think you still need a copy of XP on the USb drive to boot from. Same as a CD i think just its more portable

    Do what Destiny said...

Can you change to boot to CD in BIOS? You'd have to do that since windows won't load.

Try to get a USB external CD/DVD Drive. And install the OS that way. You might need to get into the Bios and turn on the function to Boot from USB.

Check eBay to see if they have your drive available or you can always go back to the manufacturer. They might be a little expensive if you go the manufacturer route.
