Im looking to buy me a gun for about $250 not including the mask, co2, oil, rings, barrel cleaner, etc...

What are some good sites and also what is the best guns for the price. I heared the Tippmann custom 98 is good for its price and allowable customization, but thats all I have heared.

woodsman players useually use hard core tough guns like the tippman, but if your playing on speedball fields, and need to have a high rps marker, buy something like a peruna. They are cheap and do the job.

Oh oh so that and the accuracy is mainly what matters for speedball?

    Eww
Dont get a spyder, dont use co2 use compressed air because Co2 will freeze the internals of your gun in cold weather, and is a bugger in consistancy :) "buy cheap, buy twice" is the motto I have heard.

if you want to do speedball & woodsball, get an Ion tbh, its cheap, yeh, but you can upgrade it Loads so it can then be a top marker.

But i'd avoid spyders tbph, they are horrible markers.
Get a tournament gun then you could shoot slower in the woods, if you arnt allowed electric guns. rather than have a woodsball gun, and then struggle to fire fast in speedball ;]]
    Just my 2p anyway

Do you have an idea what mask and stuff you are going to buy?

Um... I play paintball ocasonally and when I do I perfer to play woodsman because speed ball is way to fast you got to be in total alert and know everything that is going on but yeah I am going to say that a Tippman 98 custom is the best woodsman gun it's no customizable but you can upgrade it with better stuff but really it depends on what you play

speedball or in feilds in the woods

I don't know about stores but for gun quality a tippman A5 is my fav. Buy an E-grip to get full auto and a electric hopper and it's pretty kickass.

Spider is very good most of them have the dual finger triggers. My friend got a spider(I think enforcer) and with the hair and dual trigger, it put out close to 25-30 bps.

I don't know the brand but a "mom and pop" paintball store around me has a sniper style paintball gun the is accurate at 150yrds.

go for the ion. It's fairly cheap and very reliable, easy to maintain and plays like a champ. Should definetly get an nitro tank to go with it. I have one and it is awesome. All I have added so far is a custom drop and bottomline. If your gunna buy a nitro tank, buy a 4500 psi one.

What kind of gun from ion?

    *I plan on spending $300*

    Gun?

    Barrel Cover

    Maintenance

    Mask 1
    Mask 2
    Mask 3

    Pods 1
    Pods 2

I already have (2) 12oz co2 tanks do I need any more? I'm not worrying about the tanks freezing the internals of my gun, because I live in Texas which its rarely cold. In the summer I can get a nitro tank because ill be able to get a lot more money much quicker.

Anything else I need? What stuff is bad if any? Also if you wouldn't what are some of the best guns for the price? I'm probably going to order from www.paintball-discounters.com since its damn cheap and I don't know of a place near me.

If I get more money ill update the list.
