    I heard you get lots of viruses from it, is that true?

    I use it...and have yet to get a Virus, it;s probably from the stuff you can download on there, that isn't the actual patches etc you download through them from the game companies.

    Only if you download content from other players, or content you manual download off it. Other wise you would never get one from xfire.
