Metal / Metalcore / Hardcore This band is amazing. The riffs are addicting and sound so good, lots of hardcore breakdowns. Screaming is great, this guy has a GREAT range of vocal capabilities. Like I said the riffs are so catchy, but they never get old. They do have some pretty good riffs....but they're just the same old metalcore done by countless other bands. Dual guitars? check. Screaming? check. Bunch of breakdowns? check. The perfect quote about ABR: "If you have a steady diet of metalcore, then you should eat up August Burns Red. If not, you'll just hear some generic core band you're going to hate. While August Burns Red aren't terrible, they aren't great and really aren't good enough to recommend." They're a generic metalcore band that plays everything by-the-books. You say the guy has great voice range? Check out the guy from Dillinger Escape Plan. No one does it better than him.
