    These aren't an every-day person lisence. These are for firms and businesses. Those prices aren't outrageous.

    well are you running a multimillion dollar buisness? where those prices would be meer petty cash?

    Very true when you have a high end business, but when you are just starting or whatever, then it's still pricey?

    not really.... cause most buisness account for costs like these when they get the funding to start thier buisness/company, so its not like they dont know what to expect.

    Yeah ur a nub lol those are for componies that have like 1 mill members and up. the basic for like this forum and smaller is like 150 i own a vbullitin forum and i only payed 75 for license

    but many large companies also try with vB or IPB with are cheaper tan this...

    WOW! That's pretty expensive! My site's license only costed $70 per year! (Invision Power Board).

    couple of thousand a year isnt that expensive.... ok maybe just a little but not to like bill gates or donald trump

    Yep, it's expensive, but there are always other ways of getting forum software. A really easy one is to use freeware software :) like SMF. Their script is awsome.
