I doubt the US or Australia will pull out anytime too soon, US has even requested Australia to send more troops over there (5,000 I believe) and I do hope they stay until some sort of order is established. You have to think of the consequences of them leaving prematurely, the terrorists will practically have control and I'd assume that would mean even more attacks on innocent people around the world.

Now there's an election coming up the opposition leader Kevin Rudd in Australia's talking about how he's going to bring to troops home but I'd much rather have John Howard as Prime minister.

I can understand that people have family members over there and how hard that must be for them, but if you're joining the army you have to be prepared to make these sacrifices (which I'm sure they would be) and I respect them for that.

Keep some in to help the U.S. establish some order. They don't need as many troops now, you "complete idiot".

Glad to see they're pulling some out, Iraq still needs some order there. It is NOT a good idea to get all the troops out now. If you think that you're a retard who doesn't realize that if you do that, the country will just fall to pieces. Freakin retards.

maybe the usa should follow what the UK does they seem to get more of an idea that we are wasting time there. Iraq is not our concern.

I still don't see why they can't just hand the country to the Iraqi army instead of holding their hands the entire way and only letting them out when they go with UK or British troops.
