The upgrade version you have to have XP or 2000 installed on your computer... Post your computer specs, I'll tall you if you even have the power to use vista...
I have the power...i know that...its just my ------ing dad...keeps saying u dont need it.....i'm like why the ------ just let me get it and i'll be on my way.....i barely ask him about buying stuff....and his damn co workers keep butting in there two sense about it
dont get vista. its a waste of money. you'd be better of getting some smoke or pretty much anything. all thats improved is graphics. if you want graphics get a mac. They took 5 years to make vista. just some time ago they announced the next os in 2 years. just think about it. in 2 years vista is gonna be old again. and until then not many games are gonna be direct X10. so there is absolutely no reason to get it. do you even know what was upgraded in vista? nothing! a bit of 3d on your desktop ZOMFGZ0rs. Dont get it. send me the money. also the differences are something in the interface. im not sure which part. but nothing terribly important. if your going for the looks, get the upgrade.
see that is one reason...the icon look nice...they made search faster....but truthfully i cant wait two f u c k i n g years for a new os.....i like the look of it....and they said there supporting vista on and on unlike xp.....
several things to note things still work properly in XP, driver support in vista cans tand some improvement, though it's ntoa s bad in previous launches. Vista requires about 50% mroe RAM to run like XP the "eye candy" is annoying. It looks like poorly designed ----. When/if I get vista, that' craps being disabled first thing. [snapback]3549249[/snapback][/b][/quote] no, they took 3 years because they started over halfway through that 5 year period. and basically the largest changes are the OSes kernel and the OSes memory pref etching behavior. but it's a horid waste if you are just getting it for the eyecandy especially if youbuy home basic as it has the eye candy disabled (they want you to pay more money for that) Essentially buying vista is like paying money to be anal rammed with restrictive DRM "protective features" in short, you're legally purchased media might not work how you want it to anymore
